WILLIAMS, IKE-CLEO SHANS OFFICIAL PROGRAM (1944)

On June 23, 1944 lightweights Ike Williams and Cleo Shans fought at Madison Square Garden in New York in a scheduled ten round bout. Williams knocked Shans out in the 10th round, the first time in 79 bouts Shans failed to finish the fight. Offered here is an official program from this event.
This program is 48 pages witha four page insert which has photos and profiles of the fighters. Three punch holes on border of insert. Minor edge and corner wear. Generally clean. 8 1/2" x 11."
