ZALE, TONY-ROCKY GRAZIANO III OFFICIAL PROGRAM (1948)

On June 10, 1948 at Ruppert Stadium in Newark, New Jersey world middleweight champion Rocky Graziano defended his title against the man he won it from, Tony Zale. Zale dominated and knocked Graziano out in the 3rd round. Graziano was decked for a 3-count in the first round and took a seven-count in the third before the knockout. Offered here is an original, official program for this event.
This is an original, 8 page program which pictures the fighters on the covers. Neatly scored. Tight binding. Clean inside and out. Not creased, but a few compressions from handling. Minor edge wear. 8 1/2" x 11." Scarce program.
