QUARRY, JERRY-GEORGE "SCRAP IRON" JOHNSON ON SITE POSTER (1970)

On March 19, 1970 at the Olympic Auditorium in Los Angeles heavyweights Jerry Quarry and Geprge "Scrap Iron" Johnson squared off in an important division match. Quarry had laready beaten Johnson the first time they met in 1966 and in this rematch he again prevailed winning a 10 round unanimous decision. Offered here is a scarce on site poster from this event.
This on site poster is cardboard picturing both fighters. It has a center crease. Some edge wear. No paper loss. Color is bold to images and lettering. Generally clean. 14" x 22."
