QUARRY, JERRY-GEORGE "SCRAP IRON" JOHNSON ON SITE POSTER (1970)

On March 19, 1970 at the Olympic Auditorium in Los Angeles heavyweights Jerry Quarry and George "Scrap Iron" Johnson squared off in an important division match. Quarry had already beaten Johnson the first time they met in 1966 and in this rematch he again prevailed winning a 10 round unanimous decision. Offered here is a scarce on site poster from this event.
