Heavyweight Jerry Quarry fought Buster Mathis on March 24, 1969 at Madison Square Garden. Quarry won by decision after 12 rounds. His victory was an upset and put Quarry in line for a title fight. Presented here is an original wire photo depicting Quarry celebrating after the fight.
