HISTORY: On January 16, 1942 at Madison Square Garden in New Yor future champions Sugar Ray Robinson, Sal Bartolo and Willie Pep all fought on a boxing show that included former champion Fritzie Zivic. In the main event Sugar Ray Robinson stopped Zivic in the 10th round. Offered here is an original wire photo which depicts Robinson jabbing to the head of Zivic.
