PEP, WILLIE & SANDY SADDLER SIGNED HALL OF FAME ENVELOPE (1999)

On February 11, 1949 at Madison Square Garden in New York world featherweight champion Sandy Saddler defended his title against the man he won from four months earlier, Willie Pep. In this fight Pep put on a boxing exhibition and regained the title winning a unanimous 15 round decision. Offered here a 50th Anniversary commemorative envelope issued by the International Boxing Hall Of Fame which has been signed by both Willie Pep and Sandy Saddler.
This is an original first day cover. Boldly signed in black sharpie by both fighters. Clean front and back. Not creased or torn. Numbered 139. 4" x 9 1/2."
