1980 OLYMPIC BOXING FULL TICKET

Boxing at the 1980 Summer Olympics took place in the Indoor Stadium of the Olympiski Sports Complex in Moscow. The boxing schedule began on 20 July and ended on 2 August. Eleven boxing events (all men's individual) were contested. Future stars Daniel Zaragoza and John "The Beast" Mugabi along with perennial star Teofilo Stevenson competed. The United States, in protest of the Soviet Union occupation of Afghanistan, did not compete. Offered here is an original, full, unused ticket for the second round competition on July 27, 1980.
