HISTORY: On November 7, 1997 at Bally's in Las Vegas future world champion Vernon Forrest fought Ray Oliveira in a featured match. Forrest put Oliveira down in the 11th round on his way to winning a unanimous 12 round decision. In the other featured match heavyweight Michael Grant stopped Jorge Gonzalez in the first round.
