HISTORY: On Wednesday, August 16, 1967 World Lightweight Champion Carlos Ortiz of Puerto Rico fought the former champion Ismael Laguna of Panama at Shea Stadium in New York with the lightweight title at stake. Ortiz pounded out a unanimous 15 round decision in defense of his title. Offered here is a scarce original, full, unused ticket for this event which has been signed by Carlos Ortiz.
FULL DESCRIPTION: This is an original, full, unused ticket which names the fighters and includes a section and seat number. Signed in ink on the front, "Carlos Ortiz." Bold color and print. Stub firmly attached. Clean front with some residue on the back. Not creased or torn. Minor edge wear. 1 3/4" x 6 1/8."
