HISTORY: On August 13, 2005 at the United Center in Chicago heavyweights Hasim Rahman and Monte Barrett fought for the vacant WBC interim title. Rahman won a unanimous 12 round decision. The crowd booed repeatedly at what it felt was a reluctant, lackluster effort between two long-time friends. The fight was for the Interim title, after the reigning champion, Vitali Klitschko, was forced to cancel his defense against Rahman due to a knee injury suffered during training. Rahman was elevated to full champion when Klitschko announced his retirement on November 9th, 2005. Offered here is an original, full, unused ticket for this event.
