Isiah (Ike) Williams wsa born on August 2, 1923 in Brunswick, Georgia. He won the NBA Lightweight Title on April 18, 1945 in a bout with Juan Zurita. He won the vacant World Lightweight Title on August 4, 1947 in a bout with Bob Montgomery. He retired after his August 12, 1955 fight with Beau Jack with a final record of 123-25-5.
