HISTORY: In 1967 and 1968 Nino Benvenuti and Emile Griffith fought three times with the world middleweight championship at stake each time. Benvenuti won the first with Griffith taking the rematch. Benvenuti prevailed in their final meeting. This intense rivalry was remembered when the two were together at the International Boxing Hall Of Fame. Offered here is a boxing glove signed by both Emile Griffith and Nino Benvenuti which was certified by the International Boxing Hall Of Fame.
FULL DESCRIPTION: This is an original , left hand, red leather boxing glove with Everlast label at the wrist. Signed boldly on the backhand in black sharpie, "Nino Benvenuti 2002," and "Emile Griffith." Clean with no noticeable flaws. 12" long. Authenticated by the International Boxing Hall Of Fame and comes with their cert tied to the palm side of the glove.
