BRADDOCK, JIMMY WIRE PHOTO (TRAINING-1937)

James J. Braddock, The Cinderella Man, was born on February 11, 1909 in Omaha, Nebraska. He defeated Max Baer at Long Island City, NY on June 13, 1935 to win the World Heavyweight Title. He was an extreme underdog and earned his nickname with the win. He lost the title to Joe Louis in 1937. Presented here is an original wirephoto of James Braddock training for his fight with Joe Louis. It is a Planet News photo.
This original wirephoto of Jimmy Braddock training is 6" x 8." The corners are slightly soft and there is a crease in the upper right and lower right corners. Clean with no rips or tears.
