On March 25, 1904 at Woodward's Pavilion in San Francisco featherweights Young Corbett II and Jimmy Britt fought in a fight in which Corbett II defended his World title at 130 lbs. Abe Attell is now recognized as the true World Featherweight champion at 122lbs. Britt won this fight by 20 round decision. Offered here is an original, first generation photograph taken by the notable Dana Studios depicting the two fighters in the ring squaring off before the fight began.
