On March 4, 1938 at the Palais des Sports in Paris, France Baltasar Sangchili and Panama Al Brown fought for the vacant International Boxing Union World Bantamweight title. Brown prevailed winning a close 15 round split decision. Offered here is an original, first generation photo depicting Brown as he prepared for the fight.
