HISTORY: Panama Al Brown was born in Panama on July 5, 1902. He began his professional boxing career with a win over Jose Moreno on March 19, 1922. He won the Bantamweight title over Gregorio Vidal on June 18, 1929. In his career he defeated Willie LaMorte, Kid Francis, Teddy Baldock, Joe Ryder, Johnny King and Eugene Criqui. He retired after defeating Kid Fortune on December 4, 1942 with a final mark of 132-19-12. Brown died on April 11, 1951.
