On March 10, 1947 at the Arena in Cleveland future world heavyweight champion Ezzard Charles fought Jimmy Bivins in the main event. This was their third meeting, each having won once. In this light heavyweight fight it was all Charles who knocked Bivins out in the 4th round.
This is an original 6 page program which includes profiles of the fighters. Tight binding. Has a center crease. Minor edge wear. Very minor soiling. 6" x 9 1/4." Rare, the first we have seen.
