HISTORY: On January 12, 1951 at Madison Square Garden in New York world heavyweight champion Ezzard Charles defended his title against Lee Oma. Charles prevailed stopping Oma in the 10th round. A series of left hooks by Charles caused Oma to stagger along the ropes and the referee stopped the fight. Offered here is a scarce, original, on site, full, unused ticket for this event.
FULL DESCRIPTION: This is an original, on site, full, unused ticket which names the fighters and includes a section and seat number. Bold color and print. Stub firmly attached. Not torn. Tiny crease at lower left corner. Clean front and back. Mild toning from aging. 2 1/4" x 6 1/4."
