CHRISTY, TED SIGNED PHOTO (WRESTLER)

Wrestler Ted Christy was born on November 25, 1909 in California. On December 28, 1950 Ted grappled in the ring with rival wrestler Enrique Torres in a match held in Long Beach, California. Moreover, Ted formed a successful tag team with his younger brother Vic Christy in the 1950's. (The Christy brothers were well known among fellow wrestlers for their pranks and practical jokes.) Outside of wrestling, Christy also acted in a handful of films and TV shows in often uncredited minor roles. Ted died at age 66 on September 11, 1976 in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California.
