Cassius Clay won the Olympic Gold Medal in boxing at the 1960 Rome Summer Olympics. He defeated Sonny Liston on February 25, 1964 to win the World Heavyweight Title. He would become the first man to win that title three times. Changed his name to Muhammad Ali after defeating Liston. Presented here is an original wirephoto of Cassius Clay sparring with Ingemar Johansson at Johansson's training camp (Clay was his sparring partner).
