On November 9, 1979 at Madison Square Garden in New York rising heavyweight star Gerry Cooney fought John "Dino" Denis in a featured bout. Cooney stopped Denis at 1:14 of the 3rd round. Also featured former world lightweight champion Esteban DeJesus won a unanimous ten round decision over Ruby "Snake" Ortiz. Offered here is a scarce, original, on site poster for this event.
