HISTORY: On December 12, 1992 at the America West Arena in Phoenix future champion Oscar De La Hoya fought his second professional fight against Clifford Hicks, a replacement for Scotty Olson. De La Hoya knocked Hicks out in the 1st round. In the main event world light flyweight champion Michael Carbajal stopped Robinson Cuesta in the 8th round in defense of his title. Also on the show rising heavyweight star Tommy Morrison stopped Marshall Tillman in the first round.
