HISTORY: On October 30, 1993 at America West Arena in Phoenix, Arizona lightweights Oscar De La Hoya and Narcisco Valenzuela fought in the co feature. De La Hoya got up from an early knockdown and knocked Valenzuela out in the first round. In the other co feature WBC & IBF light flyweight champion Michael Carbajal successfully defended his title stopping Domingo Sosa in the 5th round.
