George Decker (B-12/20/1881; D-3/30/1956) was an American lightweight contender who fought out of Philadelphia from 1900 until 1913 amassing a record of 69-27-38. In his career Decker fought numerous contenders and champions including Frank Klaus, Young Jack O'Brien, Leo Houck, Johnny Summers, Benny Yanger, and Eddie Hanlon. Offered here is an original, first generation, mounted, antique photograph of George Decker in bust pose as he looked at the height of his career.
