On November 27, 1896 at the Broadway Athletic Club in New York featherweight champion George "Little Chocolate" Dixon fought Frank Erne. Erne won a 20 round decision. Match made at 122 lbs max and both fighters came in under that.Dixon continued to claim the title even after this loss to Erne with his title at stake in championship conditions. Offered here is a rare stubless ticket to this event.
This is an original stubless ticket which names the fighters and the venue. Bold color. Clean front and back. Has a three mild creases. Minor edge and corner wear. 2 5/8" x 3 3/4."
