FERRARA, TONY INK SIGNED ALBUM PAGE

Tony Ferrara was an American welterweight contender who fought from 1935 until 1943 amassing a final record of 22-34-5. During his career Ferrara fought some important division opponents including Jake LaMotta, Maxie Berger, Steve Belloise, Sonny Horne and Ossie Harris. Ferrara died in 1945 at the early age of 25. Offered here is a rare, original ink signed album page by Tony Ferrara. From the collection of former Boxing Illustrated writer Ralph Pollack who had the album page signed by Tony Ferrara in the early 1940's at Stillman's Gym in New York City.
