Foreman,George-Frazier Vintage Wirephoto 1972

"And down goes Frazier....." On January 22, 1973 Heavyweight Champion Joe Frazier defended his title against undefeated challenger Joe Frazier. This was not supposed to be a tough fight for the more experienced Frazier. It turned out to be a disaster. Frazier's relentless attacking style was perfect for the bigger, more powerful Foreman. Frazier was repeatedly pummeled and literally bounced off the canvas before the fight was stopped in the 2nd round. Presented here a vinatge wirephoto of the two about 3 weeks before the fight.
