FOREMAN, GEORGE-MICHAEL MOORER SIGNED FIGHT POSTER (1994)

On November 5, 1994 World Heavyweight Champion Michael Moorer defended his title against aging George Foreman at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Moorer was winning the fight easily on points, but continually ignored the warnings of his trainer Teddy Atlas who pleaded with him to not stand in front and exchange with the dangerous, but slow Foreman. Suddenly in the tenth round Foreman landed a two punch combination culminating with a huge right hand and the fight was over. Moorer was counted out and George Foreman had won the heavyweight title for the second time. Presented here is an HBO advertising poster for this fight which has been signed by George Foreman.
This colorful poster pictures both fighters and advertises the HBO telecast of the fight. It has been signed in black sharpie in the lower left area by George Foreman. The poster is paper and measures 27" x 40." The poster is clean with vivid color. Professionally linen backed. This is a scarce poster, seldom seen and rarely signed by this great former champion.
