On December 9, 1961 at the Convention Center in Las Vegas middleweight champion Gene Fullmer defended his title against welterweight champion Benny "Kid" Paret. Paret took a terrible beating and was knocked down three times in the 10th round before Fullmer stopped him for good in the same round. Offered here is an original action wire photo depicting the end of the fight.
