FULLMER, GENE SIGNED PHOTO

Gene Fullmer was born on July 21, 1931 in West Jordan, Utah. He won the World Middleweight Title on January 2, 1957 from Ray Robinson. He later won the NBA Middleweight Title in a bout with Carmen Basilio on August 28 1959. He announced his retirement on July 23, 1964 with a final record of 55-6-3 with 24 KO's. Gene Fullmer has boldly signed this 3 1/2" x 5 1/2" photo in black ink. He has inscribed it, "Best Wishes "Jeffrey" Gene Fullmer." The upper right corner is slightly creased and there is a small crease in the right side of the photo. No rips or tears.
