HEARNS, THOMAS-HAROLD WESTON PRESS PIN (1979)

On May 20,1979 at the Dunes in Las Vegas rising welterweight star and future champion Tommy Hearns met Harold Weston in a welterweight main event bout .Hearns won the bout by a 6th round TKO. Weston suffered a detached retina and the fight was stopped between the 6th and 7th rounds. Weston never fought again. Presented here is an original, official press pinback button pass to the bout.
This official press pass button measures 3 inches in diameter.The front od the button is clean.There is a typed piece of tape with the names of the two fighters on the front.The back has some surface rust.
