The S. Rae Hickok Professional Athlete of the Year award, known as the Hickok Belt, was a trophy awarded for 27 years to the top professional athlete of the year in the United States. It was created in honor of Stephen Rae Hickok, the founder of the Hickok Manufacturing Company of Rochester, New York, which made belts, hence the choice of a belt as a trophy. Offered here is an original souvenir shoe brush with original box issued by the Hickok Company. Dates to the 1950's.
This is an unused, leather shoe brush with gold colored, base metal on top which carries the name and symbol of the Hickok belt. Shows no wear. Includes part of original box (no cover). Completely intact and still has contents of zippered portion. Clean. 6 3/4 inches long.
