On December 18, 1942 at Madison Square Garden in New York lightweights Tippy Larkin and Beau Jack battled for the vacant NYSAC world lightweight title. Jack prevailed in a dominant performance knocking Larkin out in the 3rd round. Recognition as World Champion in New Jersey was also at stake. Larkin was down once in the 1st and 3rd, and had to be carried to his corner when he was counted out in the 3rd. Offered here is a rare, original, full, unused ticket for this event.
This is an original, full, unused ticket which names the fighters and includes a section, row and seat number. Stub firmly attached. Bold color and print. Not creased or torn. Minor edge wear. Clean front and back. 2 1/4" x 6."
