LEONARD, SUGAR RAY-LARRY BONDS PRESS KIT (1981)

On March 28, 1981 World Welterweight Champion Sugar Ray Leonard defended his title against Larry Bonds at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse, New York. It was Leonard's first defense of the title he regained from Roberto Duran four months earlier. Leonard stopped Bonds in the tenth round. Presented here is the press kit for the fight.
This is a 9 inch by 12 inch press kit for the Leonard vs. Bonds title bout. The kit has an entire book inside on Syracuse University along with a map and local site info. There are no photos in the kit. The kit has minor marks on the cover and inside shows aging marks and some folds in the literature.
