George Levine was an important welterweight contender in the 1920's. He fought numerous important fighters including Joe Dundee, Tommy Freeman and Jack Britton. On July 9, 1926 he lost to Pete Latzo at the Polo Grounds in New York in his attempt to win the Welterweight Title. His career spanned from 1919 until 1932 and he amassed a record of 53-31-13. Offered here is an original ink signature of George Levine.
