HISTORY: On May 10, 1996 at Madison Square Garden in New York heavyweights Lennox Lewis and Ray Mercer battled in the main event. In a very close fight Lewis won a majority ten round decison. On the undercard Evander Holyfield stopped Bobby Czyz in the 5th round and Tim Witherspoon stopped Jorge Luis Gonzalez.
