HISTORY: On June 18, 1989 at Caesars Tahoe Outdoor Arena in Stateline, Nevada former world champion Rocky Lockridge fought Mike Zena in a junior lightweight bout. Lockridge knocked Zena out in the 8th round. Zena was down four times and Lockridge was down once in the third round.
Offered here is an original cornerman jacket used in Lockridge's corner during this fight.
FULL DESCRIPTION: This is a red satin with gold trim corner jacket. On the back in gold, scriipt lettering are the words, Rocky Lockridge. The two pocket front has a zipper opening. Everlast label at front left breast. Size XL label in collar. Perfectly intact. No holes or tears. Shows appropriate use with minor soiling. Photo matched to Rocky Lockridge's fight with Mike Zena. Purchased from Rocky Lockridge in 2001 and comes with an LOA from the purchaser.
