HISTORY: On September 27, 1950 Joe Louis and Ezzard Charles fought at Yankee Stadium in New York to determine the Heavyweight Champion. Charles emerged with the victory and the title decisioning Louis over 15 rounds. Presented here is an original, unused, gambling packet for this event which could have been used to bet on rounds, minutes and seconds of duration of the fight.
FULL DESCRIPTION: This is an original, unused gambling packet which names the fighters. Stapled closed with what is now a rusty staple. Bold color and print. Not creased or torn. Mild edge wear. 1 1/2" x 2."
