Joe Louis was born on May 13, 1914 in Lafayette, Alabama. On June 22, 1937 he won the World Heavyweight Title from James J. Braddock. He retired after losing to Rocky Marciano on October 26, 1951. His final record was 63-3. Presented here is an antique photo of Joe Louis.
This antique photo of Joe Louis is 6 1/2" x 8 1/2." The corners are slightly soft and there are small creases along the edges. There is writing in pencil from where the photo was used in print. There is a small rip along the left edge.
