MCGIRT, JAMES "BUDDY"-ROGER BROWN ON SITE POSTER (1987)

On August 6, 1987 at the Felt Forum in New York future champion James "Buddy" McGirt fought Roger Brown (a replacement for Jorge Maysonet) in the featured match. McGirt knocked Brown out in the 5th round. Joseph D. O'Brian/The Ring Magazine : A picture-perfect right cross early in Round Five ended matters: Brown stood stock-still, like a stabbed bull, for five seconds before toppling over backwards, out cold.
