HISTORY: Archie Moore was born on December 13, 1913 in Benoit, Mississippi. He won the World Light Heavyweight Title from Joey Maxim on December 17, 1952. He retired after an exhibition match with Nap Mitchell on August 27, 1965 with a final record of 183-22-9 with 1 no contest and 129 KO's. Presented here is a signed letter.
FULL DESCRIPTION: Archie Moore has boldly signed this 6 3/4" x 7" letter in blue pen. The letter has been stapled to another article and has been dated 11-14-59. There is 1 vertical crease where the letter was folded and it is creased along the left edge. The letter was addressed to Jack Urch and thanked him for his support.
