O'GATTY, PACKEY HAND WRITTEN & SIGNED LETTER (WITH ENVELOPE)

Packey O'Gatty was born on June 4, 1901 in Cannitello, Italy. He was a bantamweight contender in the 1910's and 1920's. During his career he fought Jack Dempsey, Jimmy McLarnin, and Jack Sharkey. He retired after an exhibition match with Jimmy McLarnin on July 27, 1928. Presented here is a hand written and signed letter with signed envelope of Packey O'Gatty.
Packey O'Gatty has boldly signed this 8 1/2" x 11" letter in blue ink. The letter is regarding an appearance on Ed Sullivan that O'Gatty was making. The letter is creased where it was folded and there are two small rips along the top and right edges. Clean signature.
