HISTORY: On Wednesday, August 16, 1967 World Lightweight Champion Carlos Ortiz of Puerto Rico fought the former champion Ismael Laguna of Panama at Shea Stadium in New York with the lightweight title at stake. Ortiz pounded out a unanimous 15 round decision in defense of his title. Offered here is a scarce original, official program and ticket stub for this event.
