ROBINSON, RED ORIGINAL MOUNTED ANTIQUE PHOTOGRAPH

Red Robinson was born Stewart John Robinson in Pittsburg on August 19, 1890. He fought as a lightweight contender from 1909 until 1920. Opponents included Young Erne, Tommy Lowe, and Packey MacFarland. Robinson died on January 9, 1960. Offered here is a rare, original, first generation mounted photograph of Red Robinson in full fight pose as he looked at the height of his career.
This is an original, first generation, mounted photo with photographer stamp at lower right on the mount for Walter Steuernagel. Bold, clear image. Not creased or torn. Clean front and back with no staining. 5 3/4" x 8 3/4."
