ROBINSON, SUGAR RAY-TOMMY BELL ORIGINAL WIRE PHOTO (1946)

Sugar Ray Robinson fought Tommy Bell in New York on December 20, 1946 and won the vacant World Welterweight Title by gaining a hard fought 15 round decision. Presented here is an antique photo from this bout in which Robinson won his first World title (BE).
This antique photo of a Robinson-Bell bout is 8" x 10." The corners are soft and there are creases in the corners and along the edges. There are long horizontal creases along the top half of the photo. No rips or tears.
