SCHMELING, MAX VINTAGE SIGNED PHOTO

Max Schmeling was born on September 28, 1905 in Klein Luckaw, Brandenburg, Germany. He won the World Heavyweight Title on June 12, 1930 in a bout with Jack Sharkey. He also held the German Light Heavyweight, European Light Heavyweight and German Heavyweight Titles. He retired after losing to Richard Vogt on October 31, 1948 with a final record of 56-10-4 with 38 KO's. Presented here is a vintage signed photograph of Max Schmeling.
Max Schmeling has boldly signed this 7 1/2" x 9" photo in black ink. He has inscribed the photo, "Best Regards Max Schmeling to Larry Brown." The top corners are clipped and there is a tear along the bottom edge. Clean vinate signature.
