Jack Sharkey was born on October, 26, 1902 in Binghamton, New York. He won the World Heavyweight Title on June 21, 1932 from Max Schmeling. He retired after losing to Joe Louis on August 18, 1936 with a final record of 38-14-3 with 14 KO's.
