THIL, MARCEL-VINCE DUNDEE ON SITE POSTER (1931)

On July 10, 1931 at the Roland Garros Stadium in Paris, middleweights Vince Dundee of America and Marcel Thil of France squared off in an important bout. After 12 rounds Thil was declared winner by decision. Presented here is an official on site poster from this event.
The Poster names both fighters and pictures a large generic bare knuckle fight. The poster is paper in nice condition. It has no rips or tears. The year 1931 has been written in the upper right corner. There is a center crease. Generally clean with bold colors. 15" x 23." Exceedingly rare.
