THOMPSON, CYCLONE JOHNNY-PETE SULLIVAN REAL PHOTO POSTCARD (1909)

On January 15, 1909 at Pocatello, Idaho lightweights Cyclone Johnny Thompson and Pete Sullivan fought in a featured bout. Sullivan won a twenty round decision. Offered here is an original, real photo postcard of the two squaring off before the fight.
This is an original, unused, real photo postcard. Bold, clear image and print. Not creased or torn. Minor soiling at right edge. AZO stamp on back. 3 1/2" x 5 1/2." Rare, the only example we have seen.
